Ron Weathers

Before incorporating Weathers Contracting in 1995, Ron was co-founder of Summerfield Associates, where he continued for twelve years.

His extensive career as a general contractor includes all aspects negotiating, designing and management of construction projects. He has built many relationships over many years through trust and confidence with the commitment to provide quality workmanship and integrity.

James Allen Weathers

President

B.S. in Construction Science & Management, Clemson University

After several years of internship with Weathers Contracting, James Allen joined full time as superintendent in 2009 providing oversight and hands on experience on a multitude of construction projects.  In 2011, James Allen furthered his career and took on the role of Project Manager. Working closely with clients, Weathers Contracting superintendents and inspectors, he manages multiple new construction and interior upfit and renovation projects through completion. He is responsible for estimating, scheduling, contract management and coordinating proper staff to ensure client satisfaction throughout the entire project.

Jennifer Bessinger

Accounting

Midlands Technical College, Principals of Accounting & Small Business Tax 1997 & 2000

Jennifer has over twenty years of experience in the construction industry and holds a great interest in all aspects of the field. She has been with Weathers Contracting since 2016. She previously held a license in residential building from 2003-2010 and a Real Estate license 2009-2011. She manages the Accounting and Human Resource procedures.

Marion Wooten

Project Manager & Estimator

Marion has over forty years of experience in the construction industry. He came onboard with Weathers Contracting in 2013. Marion has managed projects consisting of retail shopping centers, financial institutions, automobile dealerships, medical facilities, religious facilities, warehouses, multi-family housing, motels and office buildings. The majority of his experience involve design-build projects, being extensively involved in projects from preliminary design concept, estimating, sales and construction.

Trey Hughey

Estimator & Project Manager

BS in Construction Science & Management, Clemson University

Trey has nine years of experience in design-build project delivery, pre-Construction management, estimating, & active construction Project Management. He joined Weathers in 2021. Trey prioritizes developing strong relationships with design professionals, sub-contractors, & vendors to deliver a high-quality project. He has managed new construction projects, interior upfits, & renovation projects consisting of dental offices, manufacturing facilities, medical facilities, religious facilities, warehouses, & office buildings.

Michael Hiller

Design Draftsman

Midlands Technical College, Associates in Architectural Engineering Technology

OSHA Certifications

Michael began his career at Weathers Contracting in 2019. He has twenty five years of experience in the Architectural CAD and Design-Build field. His experience entails wood, metal frame and masonry structures.  He has worked on projects both overseas and domestically up and down the east coast. He is responsible for working with project managers as well as meeting with potential clients in the Design-Build arena to develop drawings that capture their needs. Michael has also been a scout leader with Boy Scouts of America for seventeen years.

Danielle Proctor

Danielle joined the Weathers Contracting team in August of 2021.  She is the smiling face you see when you enter our office. Danielle has been in the construction industry for ten years and  wears many hats managing subcontractor compliance, accounts payable and general administrative support.
