Weathers Contracting received the 2008 Merit Award from The American Institute of Architects for historical renovations at the Palmetto Collegiate Institute in Lexington, SC. The building was a school from 1881 until 1911. Weathers renovated the building in 2008 and it is now used by the Town of Lexington as an event venue.
